Our dad, Joseph, along with Robert Kennedy, Jr., exposed a toxic military dumpsite buried in the 60’s (which included Agent Orange) at Stewart Air Force Base in Newburgh, New York. It is a site that has been covered up by our government, the EPA and DEC for the past 40 years. As a result, this contamination has poisoned the community for over 40 years by leeching into Washington Lake Drinking Water Resevoir, which is right across the street from the Air Force base that serves 10’s of thousands of civilians.
They just shut down the drinking reservoir in 2016 due to firefighting foam (PFAS) and all the health illnesses and death, which is nothing compared to what we found. The current mayor of Newburgh just stated last month “don’t ever ever, ever drink from the reservoir again.”
We have 5 years of full page ads weekly in the Sentinel Newspaper in New Windsor with proof of everything we are saying. The editor has it. In 40 years, not one reporter has ever called him to see the proof. He stated he would love to sit down on his couch and show the proof to any reporter who would call him and ask him to see it.
Thank you, Civilian Exposure, for your help to our service men and women and to our communities.
