Announcement of September 11, 2014 Camp Lejeune CAP Meeting

The next meeting will be held September 11, 2014 from 8:30 A.M. to 2:30 P.M. in Atlanta at the offices of NCEH/ATSDR.

A link for viewing the meeting will be available on the day of the meeting and will be posted both on the ATSDR site and here at Civilian Exposure (watch for updates). You do not need to register to view the meeting over the internet

The Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry (ATSDR) has created a community assistance panel (CAP) for the Camp Lejeune site. The purpose of the CAP is to voice the concerns of the affected Camp Lejeune community to provide input for health studies. Members of the CAP will provide individual input as well as represent the views of the community and groups to which they belong. ATSDR will seriously consider all CAP members’ points of view. The CAP consists of community members, one representative from the Department of Defense (DoD), independent scientific experts, and ATSDR staff.
